Rosen Aviation partners with Heads Up Technologies for XM WX® Satellite Weather

Rosen Aviation establishes technology partnership with Heads Up Technologies, manufacturer of certified receivers for XM® Satellite Radio weather and audio services. This partnership provides XM WX Satellite Weather capability to Rosen's new RosenView LXM moving map and passenger briefing system.

"By partnering with Heads Up Technologies, we can bring satellite weather overlays to our current moving map system," states Jeff Unger, Rosen Aviation VP of Engineering. "With satellite weather, passengers can view real-time weather during any stage of flight and prepare for the weather at their final destination."

Heads Up Technologies, Inc. provides satellite receivers for the aviation industry. The RosenView LXM is applicable to corporate jets equipped with an XM satellite antenna, a Heads Up receiver and XM satellite subscription (sold separately). With this combination of equipment, XM WX Satellite Weather service is delivered by XM for continental United States destinations.

The RosenView LXM will be available Q1 2008. The product will be shown at NBAA, September 25 – 27, in Atlanta, Georgia, Building C, booth #1864.
