Aerospace Optics to introduce web-based configurator at upcoming NBAA meeting & convention

08/09/2008

Press releaseIssued by Applied Avionics, Inc..

The configurator is an online part specification system that enables the user to specify complete part numbers and request a quote anytime day or night. The configurator was made available on a limited basis to Aerospace Optics' customers earlier this year and the response has been tremendous. The configurator will be introduced industry-wide at the NBAA Convention in booth 1750.

"We are always looking for opportunities to simplify our ordering process and judging from what we are hearing, the configurator is exceeding all expectations," said Craig Morgan, vice president of sales.

The Aerospace Optics configurator guides customers through the part number design process, allowing them to select the enclosure, actuation, legend, ground and termination type, as well as optional upgrades, such as EMI shielding or NVIS compliant lighting.
