AEVEX expands with new facilities in Florida and Virginia to support growth and strengthen customer collaboration

AEVEX Corp., a leading U.S. defense technology company delivering autonomous unmanned systems, AI-enabled mission software, and advanced ISR and EW solutions, today announced expansions of its corporate footprint in Florida and Virginia to meet growing production demand and to enhance collaboration with U.S. government customers and industry partners.

The investments expand AEVEX's manufacturing capacity and customer-facing infrastructure to support AEVEX's rapid scaling and to meet increasing demand for battle-proven autonomous systems.

Florida expansion boosts production capacity and strengthens strategic footprint

In Florida, AEVEX is significantly expanding and consolidating its Tampa manufacturing operations to support rising production requirements and establish additional capacity for future growth. The investment is expected to more than double production capacity over the next year while providing greater operational flexibility to respond to customer demand. Tampa's position within a major U.S. defense and national security hub enhances AEVEX's proximity to key customers, partners, and mission stakeholders.

The new footprint will include a large-scale ecosystem designed for high-volume production, dedicated space for AEVEX's expanding additive manufacturing and Uncrewed Surface Vehicle (USV) operations, and increased capacity for manufacturing, engineering, technical, and program personnel.

Virginia office strengthens customer proximity and mission collaboration

AEVEX has also secured new dedicated office space in Arlington, Virginia, establishing an expanded hub for close collaboration with U.S. government customers, defense partners, and other national security stakeholders. The location will support teams working across unmanned systems programs, autonomy integration, engineering, program execution, and customer engagement, enabling tighter coordination as mission requirements evolve and new programs move from development to fielding.
