AFG Aero & Industrial receives AS9100 accreditation

AFG Aero & Industrial announced that their Emmett Road facility in Houston has been awarded AS9100 accreditation from PRI Registrar for its commitment to continual improvement in their management system.

This facility joins the Company's Detroit, Michigan facility (Steel Industries) and the companies machining center (SMI) in Houston, Texas as accredited locations. Both manufacturing facilities provide state-of-the-art precision machining and forging for key industry verticals, including aerospace and defense.

"Earning the prestigious AS9100 accreditation enables us to produce specialized parts in accordance with our work in the aerospace and defense sectors. We are proud to strengthen our quality standards in support of our customers," commented Joe Jenkins, President of AFG Aero & Industrial.

AFG Aero & Industrial received accreditation for demonstrating their ongoing commitment to quality by satisfying customer requirements and industry specifications.
