AI Platinum Elite High Definition entertainment line – the sky is the limit

12/06/2009

Press releaseIssued by the company.

DeCrane Aerospace Audio International (DAAI) has launched the AI Platinum Elite High Definition System for customer delivery in Q1 of 2010. The High Definition system provides Full 1080p resolution via high-speed 3G-SDI over CAN bus architecture.

Through use of aircraft-standard video coaxial cable and connections the system optimizes the ease, cost and overall weight of aircraft installations. The AI Platinum Elite system distributes uncompressed 3G-SDI High Definition video signal to create theater-quality video that is unaffected by system latency, synchronization issues and 400 Hz signal interference that is inherent to other entertainment systems.

Audio International has developed a Blu-Ray Player and a wide array of High Definition LCD Monitors for the AI Platinum configuration. The system is designed with in-system programming that offers the capability to plug into a system port for software down-loads. Additional features include and built-in system self test, as well as remote diagnostic analysis for field-service applications.

"We continue as the most innovative CMS/IFE provider in the industry," stated General Manager Stan Young. "We take enormous pride in bringing to market the top-quality products and services demanded by our industry. The AI Platinum Elite high definition entertainment system is just one more example of Audio International's leadership into cutting-edge technology."
