27/09/2018

Press releaseIssued by AVIC Cabin Systems UK (ACS UK - was AIM Altitude).

AIM Altitude and Airbus have signed an agreement for the development, manufacture, supply and support of Galleys and Stowages for the A320 aircraft Family. The Galleys and Stowages will become available from 2020 to airline customers as a 'supplier-furnished-equipment' (SFE) offering, while allowing Airbus to strengthen its industrial flexibility. With this SFE contract, AIM Altitude becomes a 'Tier One' cabin supplier to Airbus.

Mr. Pang Zhen of the newly established AVIC Cabin Systems said: "This is a major step forward for both AIM Altitude and AVIC Cabin Systems in strengthening our partnership with Airbus and we are excited by the prospect of further developing our relationship with Airbus in the future."

Richard Bower, CEO at AIM Altitude said: "We are delighted to have been selected by Airbus for the supply of Galleys and Stowages for the A320 Family of aircraft. It's a significant development for AIM Altitude under AVIC ownership and we very much look forward to working with the Airbus team. This is a huge milestone for us as it's the first time we have been selected as a major SFE interiors supplier to Airbus."
