Aspen Avionics selects SigmaQuest to drive cost-effective manufacturing processes

14/10/2009

Press releaseIssued by the company.

SigmaQuest today announced that Aspen Avionics has signed a multiyear purchase agreement for its SigmaSure™ product quality management Software as a Service (SaaS) offerings. The avionics instrument manufacturer will use SigmaSure for managing and tracking the production life cycle of its cost-effective Evolution Flight Display System for General Aviation (GA) aircraft.

"Since our inception, Aspen Avionics has been committed to the development of sophisticated avionics products that offer an unprecedented level of safety through redundancy and reliability," said Aspen Avionics vice president of manufacturing, Kyle Farley. "As we grow our manufacturing capabilities to meet increasing demand, it is critical that we adhere to high-quality standards while remaining cost conscious. SigmaQuest's product quality management system addresses our requirement to track products throughout their life cycles and it gives essential insight into suppliers' component quality, contract manufacturing, and return material authorization (RMA) processes."

"Aspen Avionics' decision to rely on SigmaQuest is testament to the strength of our offerings. We are pleased that Aspen Avionics recognizes the business value of having a 360 degree view of its production and customer service operation metrics," said SigmaQuest president and CEO, Nader Fathi.

Aspen Avionics will be using SigmaQuest's Manufacturing Test Insight™ and Return Material Authorization (RMA) Insight™ modules delivered as SaaS.
