AW09 prototype close to final shape

The AW09 third prototype (P3) is now fitted with new upper cowlings as part of aerodynamic improvements of the Type Certification design.

The evolution of the helicopter has involved many aspects of the original design the most relevant of which are rotors, blades, flight controls and fuselage aerodynamics. All of these modifications are aimed at improving the aircraft performance, handling qualities and comfort.
