Press releaseIssued by Wind River Systems, Inc..

Wind River, an Aptiv company and global leader in mission-critical software for the intelligent edge, today announced that it received a Gold Tier Award from BAE Systems’ Partner 2 Win program. The award recognizes Wind River’s exceptional performance and contributions to the BAE Systems Electronic Systems sector supply chain in 2025. Gold Supplier status requires exceptional performance metrics, including 100% on-time delivery and high quality standards.

“Wind River is honored to be recognized as a Gold Supplier by BAE Systems,” said Darrell Jordan-Smith, chief revenue officer, Wind River. “We value our long-standing partnership with BAE Systems. This award reflects our dedication to supporting mission-critical defense and aerospace programs with proven technology, rigorous quality, and dependable delivery on time, every time.”

BAE Systems’ Partner 2 Win program drives operational excellence and eliminates inefficiencies in the company’s supply chain by raising the bar for performance expectations to meet the demands of current and future customers. As part of the program, BAE Systems meets regularly with its suppliers to transfer best practices and ensure the components and materials that compose its products meet the highest quality standards.

“Without the demonstrated commitment to operational excellence from our supplier partners, we would not be able to deliver for our customers,” said Jennica Dearborn, vice president of Operations for BAE Systems’ Electronic Systems sector. “Their collaborative support and dedication has been critical to overcoming challenges and achieving new levels of performance, scale, quality, and innovation for our customers. We look forward to continued partnership.”

The Gold Supplier distinction reflects performance measured across quality, delivery, and alignment with BAE Systems’ continuous-improvement expectations. Wind River will continue to work closely with BAE Systems through the Partner 2 Win program to help drive innovation and operational excellence across future aerospace and defense initiatives.

Powering some of the world’s most demanding systems, Wind River possesses a decades-long track record of delivering certified, secure, and reliable solutions for aerospace and defense programs. Achieving Gold Tier status further reinforces Wind River’s role as a trusted partner in enabling advanced electronic systems with zero-defect performance requirements.
