Boeing Everett orders Orbital Drilling equipment

08/04/2014

Press releaseIssued by Novator AB.

Boeing has placed an order for portable Orbital Drilling equipment for the 787 Dreamliner production in Everett, Washington, USA.

Following successful implementations of portable Orbital Drilling systems on the Boeing 787 production lines in Everett during 2011, 2012 and 2013, Boeing has placed an additional order for portable Orbital Drilling equipment.

“Our equipment has proven to cut time in production and increase hole quality. It therefore plays an important role in supporting Boeing's production ramp-up of the 787 Dreamliner” says Hans-Petter Andersson, Novator's CEO.

The equipment will be delivered during 2014 and 2015.
