19/07/2010

Press releaseIssued by Accrofab (Alcester) Limited.

Bromford Industries is proud to announce its selection by Messier Dowty to supply precision machined components for large landing gears, following the conclusion of an 8 year Long Term Agreement valid until 2018 where Bromford will supply Torque Link Assemblies. This contract represents a potential sales value of almost $40m. The award further enhances the relationship between the two companies and builds upon similar components which Bromford already supplies direct to Messier Dowty.

Mike Smith, CEO said "We are absolutely delighted with this amazing opportunity to support Messier Dowty on leading large commercial aircraft programs. As a commitment to the programme substantial funds have again been made available by Darwin PE with the first piece of capital equipment arriving later this year. This award further enhances the significant progress Bromford has made in the short space of time since its acquisition by Darwin PE in August 2009. Our vision is to continue to develop the business with a balanced product portfolio servicing our three key market sectors of Landing Gear, Aerospace and Industrial Gas Turbines"

Bromford Industries is headed by an experienced team demonstrating the right philosophy for success. The Company prides itself in offering engineering solutions in hard to work materials and demanding tolerances, delivered at pace and at a competitive advantage to its customers whether it be Machined or Fabricated parts or the supply of assemblies for both production and aftermarket applications.
