CAV Ice Protection earns ISO approval

30/03/2011

Press releaseIssued by CAV Systems (was CAV Ice Protection).

CAV Ice Protection has received ISO 9001:2008 and AS9100:2004 Rev. B certification for the company's supply, repair and installation of its proprietary TKS Ice Protection System. The approval is for the company's operation at the Salina Airport in Salina, KS. The effective date of the company's certificate of registration was March 27, 2011.

"We are exceptionally pleased to have this recognition of our processes and systems and it reinforces our ability to support a wide range of OEM and owner/operator ice protection requirements," said Kevin Hawley, president of CAV Ice Protection. “Even though we are coming out of the winter icing season, CAV Ice Protection is available year-round to install our proven ice protection system in a wide variety of general aviation aircraft,” he added. “Now is the perfect time to schedule an upgrade when we can work around customer schedules.”
