Press releaseIssued by STELIA Aerospace North America.

Composites Atlantic Limited is pleased to announce a multi-year contract with Bombardier Aerospace, Belfast for the fabrication of composite parts on the horizontal stabilizer for the Global 7000 and Global 8000 business aircraft. Bombardier Belfast is responsible for the design, manufacture and supply of the complete horizontal stabilizers for the Global family of aircraft.

Composites Atlantic Limited has been a supplier to Bombardier Belfast since the mid-1990s and manufactures composite parts that are installed on many of Bombardier's aircraft platforms. This contract will help extend the company's long-term relationship with Bombardier.

“CAL is honored by the confidence that the Belfast operation is putting into our capabilities and expertise,” said Ms. Joeann Stewart, Director of Customer Liaison at Composites Atlantic.

“Bombardier Belfast is recognized for its composites expertise. Working with Bombardier is certainly a sign of recognition of our capabilities and competencies, and also an opportunity to learn from the best in the business. In addition, the Global aircraft product line is rated one of the top in the business aircraft market."

“We will be working in close collaboration with Bombardier's engineering and development team to ensure that the first parts are delivered on time to support Bombardier's rigorous schedule,” said Mr. Benjamin Langford, Liaison Engineering Manager at Composites Atlantic.
