01/01/2017

Press releaseIssued by Conekt, (ZF Race Engineering).

From 1 January 2017, Conekt will be integrated with ZF Race Engineering. The newly combined operation will be organised as three coordinated divisions; Motorsport, Special Series and Engineering Services. Conekt, as the brand of Engineering Services, will continue to provide high value engineering development, reliability and validation services to organisations in the automotive, aerospace, defence, energy, intelligent mobility and off-highway/commercial vehicle industries.

Adrian Mitcham, Conekt's General Manager, commented, "Conekt's integration with ZF Race Engineering creates a fantastic opportunity for us to extend the range of services and products that we are able to offer. Our colleagues in ZF Race Engineering have a distinguished history in the design and development of high performance products and we are looking forward to being able to apply this expertise to the benefit of our customers".

Conekt's integration with ZF Race Engineering comes after ZF's acquisition of the TRW Group in May 2015. The operation will be led by Norbert Odendahl who will continue to be based at ZF Race Engineering headquarters in Schweinfurt, Germany. Norbert has been managing director of ZF Race Engineering GmbH since 2012 and has previously held senior management positions in a number of ZF businesses.
