Curtiss-Wright Controls awarded contract by Bell Helicopter

Curtiss-Wright Controls, Inc. today announced that it has received a contract from Bell Helicopter to supply crash protected data acquisition recorders for use on the Bell 412EPI helicopter. Under the agreement, Curtiss-Wright Controls' Avionics & Electronics (CWC-AE) division will provide Bell Helicopter with its compact Data Acquisition Flight Recorder (DAFR) product which will be offered to customers as an option on the 412EPI to provide the rotorcraft with Cockpit Voice Recorder (CVR), Flight Data Recorder (FDR), and additional key data acquisition capabilities.

The Curtiss-Wright Controls Avionics & Electronics (CWC-AE) division is manufacturing the products covered by this agreement in its Christchurch, UK facility. The products are being shipped to Bell Helicopter in Piney Flats, TN.
