Daher awarded Best Performer Award by Airbus

01/06/2015

Press releaseIssued by Daher.

During the “SQIP Day” organized by Airbus in Toulouse, which brought together the main aerostructure suppliers undertaking a Supply Chain and Quality Improvement Program (SQIP) with Airbus, Daher received the award for “Best Performer”.

This award follows that for “Best Improver”, won by Daher in 2013, and demonstrates our success in ramping up teams and enabling them to achieve operational excellence.

Operational and industrial excellence duly rewarded

Daher achieved the “Best Performer Award” based on Airbus' evaluation of operational performance (service rate, quality delivered, scores for the various IPCA audits, etc.) across all Daher sites, as well as the industrial maturity and continuous improvement of key company processes.

“This award recognizes all the efforts made by teams on the ground at all our industrial sites that act as suppliers to Airbus, in both France and Morocco. We are extremely pleased! Having said that, it is only one step forwards, and we intend to make further progress. To this end, we are deploying increasing numbers of progress initiatives within the Group under the Performance 2017 strategic plan. This recognition from Airbus shows the trust it places in us and strengthens our ambitions”, commented Didier Kayat, Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Daher.
