DAHER group confirms signature of SOCATA takeover deal with EADS, with acquisition of a majority 70% stake.

08/01/2009

Press releaseIssued by Daher Group.

Following approval from the competition authorities, DAHER is pleased to confirm its takeover of SOCATA. This takeover is fully in line with its strategic plan AMBITION 2012.

With the integration of SOCATA, DAHER becomes a fully-fledged aerospace manufacturer as well as a tier one equipment manufacturer working with the industry's leading manufacturers.

The DAHER–SOCATA association results in a company with a total staff of 7,500 and a turnover of close to €1 billion, and creates a company of the appropriate critical weight to meet the needs of tomorrow's aerospace programs.

The move strengthens DAHER's integrated equipment and services model, as it broadens its market offer in both industrial products and value-added services.
