DAHER-SOCATA, a tier-1 aerostructures partner to the new Gulfstream G500 and G600

DAHER-SOCATA, the Aerospace & Defence division of DAHER, is proud to be a tier-1 partner for the latest addition to the Gulfstream family of aircraft, the G500 and G600, which were unveiled on October 14 during an official ceremony in Savannah, Georgia.

DAHER-SOCATA provides its engineering expertise in cutting- edge technologies, along with its assembly and composite know- how to support Gulfstream on the G500 and G600 programs.

DAHER-SOCATA designs and manufactures the Main Landing Gear Doors, one of the products on which it has a recognized expertise

“Engineering teams from DAHER-SOCATA have been working with the Gulfstream program teams for several years to design the composite main landing gear doors. DAHER-SOCATA has been designing and manufacturing doors for a great number of commercial aircraft programs, and it is now one of our key products in our aerostructures range. We are proud to bring this expertise to Gulfstream on this extremely advanced business aircraft” explains Stéphane Mayer, President and CEO of DAHER- SOCATA.

A strategic step in DAHER-SOCATA's development in the USA

DAHER-SOCATA has been operating in the USA for more than 30 years. Its base in Florida is in charge of marketing, sales and support for a growing fleet of more than 500 TBM delivered in the Americas. The TBM 900, designed and manufactured by DAHER-SOCATA, is the world's fastest certified single engine turboprop. DAHER-SOCATA also has a plant in Nogales, Mexico to manufacture composite parts for North American customers.

“DAHER now employs over 200 people in North America and we want to continue to grow.
