DEMA SPA selected by Learjet Inc. for primary and secondary structures for the Learjet 85 business jet

DEMA SpA confirms its growth and development in the North American market, announcing that it was selected by Learjet Inc. for primary and secondary structures for the Learjet 85 business jet. The announcement is in occasion of of the NBAA 2011, the 64th National Business Aviation Association annual meeting in Las Vegas, from October 10th to 12th. The order includes tool design and manufacturing of components for the production of the pressure vessel, wings, horizontal stabilizer and aft fuselage bucket.

In 2010, DEMA signed two other contracts with Bombardier for the design and production of a portion of the CSeries aircraft cockpit, and also signed a preliminary agreement for the initial development phase on new and existing programs at the 2011 International Paris Air Show at Le Bourget.

"This order confirms the role of DEMA in Bombardier Aerospace's Supply Chain," said Claudio Repetti, Vice President & General Director, Dema Aeronautics. "Our presence in North America and our proximity to Bombardier facilities allows us to support the Learjet 85 and CSeries aircraft programs."
