DIN EN 9100 audit of COTESA plant in China successfully passed despite difficult conditions

29/07/2020

Press releaseIssued by Cotesa GmbH.

COTESA (China) Composites CO., Ltd., a subsidiary of COTESA GmbH, has been successfully certified according to DIN EN 9100. While COTESA GmbH has been certified since 2004, for the new plant in Changzhou it was a premiere.

A particular challenge was the situation caused by the Corona crisis. With travel restrictions during this time, all training and support had to be organised by telephone or video conference.

COTESA's dedicated employees in Germany and China supported each other and did an excellent job, which together led to this great result. Months of preparation and hard work on both sides paid off.

"We would like to thank all employees for their months of preparation, energy and commitment. We are very proud of the joint success and congratulate everyone on this excellent performance. This lays an important foundation stone for manufacturing aerospace products in the plant in China as well as for expanding the international presence of the COTESA Group". (Dr. Steffen Kress, Managing Director).
