Donaldson to supply engine air intake filters for Korean Aerospace Industries KC-100 aircraft

Donaldson Aerospace & Defense, a division of Donaldson Company (NYSE:DCI), announced today that the company has been selected by Korea Aerospace Industries (KAI) to supply Donaldson synthetic engine air intake filters for the KC-100 aircraft.

KAI selected Donaldson for its strong track-record of providing engine air filtration systems, superior dry synthetic media technology and global distribution. "Our engine air intake filters offer high performance and superior engine protection, as they exceed engine and airframe specifications for engine air flow, pressure drop restriction, filtration efficiency and fire resistance within the size and weight allowances of the aircraft. Donaldson engine intake filters are easy to inspect, clean and maintain – lasting longer than competitive brands."

The KC-100 is a four passenger, single engine, piston aircraft being developed by KAI for business and personal leisure. It is intended to be the first Korean-developed and certified civil aircraft.
