Dufour opens Zurich technology office

03/10/2019

Press releaseIssued by Dufour Aerospace.

Dufour Aerospace is a young Swiss start-up on a mission to revolutionize mobility by developing electric and hybrid-electric tilt-wing vertical take-off and landing (VTOL) aircraft.

Most of our development and testing has taken place at our headquarters in Visp (VS) and the nearby Raron airfield. In the past year, an increasing amount of work and collaboration has been in the Zurich area. So as we continue to expand, it's clear that Zurich is the right location for our technology office.

Zurich is home to Google's European engineering hub, and a number of other major technology companies. It is also a world leader in drone technology.

Commenting on this new location, Jasmine Kent, CTO, said "As our close collaborations with ETH and ZHAW have delivered so much value, it was a natural choice for Dufour Aerospace to expand our operations in Zurich. We look forward to continuing these collaborations, and attracting world class talent from the Zurich area and beyond."
