Flight deck track balls for civil aircraft are supplied by TRAXSYS to a number of major aerospace projects

24/08/2006

Press releaseIssued by Traxsys Input Products.

As the development of modern 'glass cockpits' matures, TRAXSYS have been invited to work with a number of systems integrators to provide custom track ball solutions to this demanding market. This demanding requirement enabled TRAXSYS to draw heavily on its past experience in the aerospace and military environment where reliability and quality assurance are vital in providing the operators with the reassurances needed.

The units comprise an ergonomically advanced concept with duplexed electronics able to provide a considerable degree of 'fail safe' when operating in extremes of temperature and vibration. Operational life and MTBF figures are far in advance of conventional track balls making the solution both cost effective and user friendly.
