13/03/2018

Press releaseIssued by Galleon Embedded Computing AS.

Galleon Embedded Computing announces that it has successfully transitioned to the new AS9100 Rev. D standard. This international quality management standard recognises that Galleon has the necessary processes in place for the aerospace industry's demand for safe and reliable products that meet or exceed the requirements of customers and regulatory authorities.

As a registered AS9100 supplier, Galleon provides its customers with a competitive advantage by strengthening their supply chain as a mature designer and manufacturer of high quality and high reliability Data Recorders and Data Processing Systems.

Attainment of the AS9100 registration demonstrates Galleon's continued commitment to increasing customer satisfaction, lower costs and improved risk management across a number of aerospace subsystems and platforms.

Espen Boch, CEO at Galleon Embedded Computing, commented:

"Galleon Embedded Computing has served the aerospace and defense market since 2009 with our Data Recording and Data Processing systems for use in harsh environment applications. This certification demonstrates that we have the necessary processes to be able to serve not only our aerospace customers with the highest level of quality, but also the demanding customer base in land based and naval systems. This re-certification confirms our dedication to support our demanding customer base with the quality and lifecycle management they require."
