Heads Up Technologies selected to provide XM WX Satellite Weather Receiver for Rockwell Collins Pro Line FusionTM

19/10/2009

Press releaseIssued by Heads Up Technologies Inc..

Heads Up Technologies, Inc., a leading supplier of electronic solutions for general aviation and commercial aircraft, has been selected to provide the XM WX Satellite Weather Receiver by Rockwell Collins for its Pro Line FusionTM avioincs system.

XM WX Satellite Weather was introduced at the NBAA in 2003. Since then, XM WX has grown to become the datalink weather standard, primarily due to its unique combination of XM's powerful satellite delivery system, data partner WxWorx, and world-class avionics partners.

"Rockwell Collins was the XM WX launch customer in the certified avionics world in 2003." said Rob Harshaw, President/CEO for Heads Up. "Their selection of XM WX and Heads Up for Pro Line Fusion is evidence of XM WX's continued leadership in the datalink weather market" he added.

XM WX Satellite Weather capabilities will be on display at Heads Up Technologies' booth # 4754 at the 2009 NBAA in Orlando. Learn more about Pro Line Fusion at Rockwell Collins' NBAA booth #259.
