JETCAM announces UK expansion

19/08/2013

Press releaseIssued by JetCam International s.a.r.l..

Following on from JETCAM Composite GmbH's formation earlier in the year, JETCAM International s.a.r.l. today announced the foundation of JETCAM UK Limited. The business has been created as a separate entity due to an increase in demand in both the sheet metal and composite manufacturing industries.

The new company will provide both pre and post sales services, including training and technical support. JETCAM UK Limited, a separately owned company, will offer the complete range of JETCAM CAM, nesting and material management products, including JETCAM's flagship composite and sheet metal manufacturing suite, CrossTrack.

A new support infrastructure has been rolled out to coincide with the company's foundation. In addition to traditional on-site support customers can request a virtual engineer who can be connected to their PCs within 30 seconds. Said Martin Bailey, General Manager of JETCAM International s.a.r.l.; "Customers often have a how do I‚ moment. By having an engineer connect remotely in seconds, our customers can get answers to most questions and get on with running their business."

He added; "The UK has always been an important market for us, as many high level engineering technologies are developed here. Despite what you read in the general media UK PLC is alive and well when it comes to manufacturing, with recent (July 2013) government figures citing growth hitting a two-year high. JETCAM UK Limited is in a great position to assist these companies in accelerating that growth."
