Kawasaki receives the 2024 Embraer Best Suppliers of the Year Award

15/04/2025

Press releaseIssued by Kawasaki Aerospace.

Kawasaki Heavy Industries, Ltd. announced that it was named winner of the “Embraer Best Suppliers of the Year 2024” (Structures Category) by Embraer S.A., a global aerospace company headquartered in Brazil. This is the second time that Kawasaki was recognized as the winner of that same category since 2013.

The Embraer Best Suppliers Award is given to Embraer's suppliers in the global supply chain which have demonstrated outstanding performance and achieved strong results that directly contribute to the high level of customer satisfaction in 10 categories, including “Structures” and “Interiors.”

Kawasaki has been in partnership with Embraer for more than 25 years, after signing an agreement in 1999 to participate in the development and manufacture of wing components for the E170 regional jets. In 2001 Kawasaki began supplying Embraer with those components manufactured at its Gifu Works, and to date the company has shipped the equivalent of 1,000 aircraft components for the E170/175 on a cumulative basis.

Kawasaki believes that this award was given in recognition of the company's high-quality components and strict adherence to the delivery schedule. Moving forward, the company will continue to take pride in tackling new challenges and contribute to the improvement of customer value. At the same time, the company will further develop proprietary technology and continue to play an effective role in the aircraft industry.
