10/03/2021

Press releaseIssued by Asterios Technologies.

The French software company KRONO-SAFE, is pleased to announce that it has obtained ISO 9001:2015 certification for the development, sale and support of a deterministic real-time software development platform for safety-critical cyber-physical systems.

ISO 9001 is the internationally recognised standard for Quality Management Systems (QMS). It is the most widely used QMS standard in the world. The ISO 9001 standard guarantees the organizational quality of the company and the implementation of an improvement process. The objective is to provide companies with a framework so that products and services are always in line with customer expectations. Customer satisfaction is at the heart of the certification.

For Nicolas Puyo, Quality Expert at KRONO-SAFE, "obtaining the ISO 9001 certification is the result of a teamwork and company-wide project which materialize the will of our Management to structure operations, gain in performance and ensure the right level of quality of products and services delivered to our customers. It is a de facto achievement, but it is also the beginning of something bigger, which will allow us to go further, along standardization paths strongly motivated by our customers, such as IATF 16949, A-SPICE or ISO 26262, to name but a few".

Eric Lutterman, CEO of KRONO-SAFE, said: "Obtaining ISO 9001 certification is a strong signal for our customers, our teams and our partners. ISO certification is a further recognition of our company's commitment to provide high quality software solutions and services. Whether it is to achieve customer satisfaction objectives, research or development of our software tools platform ASTERIOS, we are constantly working to improve our processes, in order to deliver solutions that allow our customers to develop high performance deterministic systems, strictly compliant with requirements, and efficiently certifiable".
