KUKA Aerospace opens Everett, WA facility to support growth

KUKA Aerospace, a leader in automated manufacturing systems for aircraft manufacturing and assembly, is locating its first US facility outside of Michigan in Everett, WA. The 29,000 sq ft center will provide a service and maintenance hub close to KUKA Aerospace customers on the West Coast and help support the current expansion of the company's business. It is expected that about 75 employees will work out of the facility when it is fully operational. KUKA Aerospace, the global aerospace division of the KUKA Systems Group, is based in Sterling Heights, MI. The company's manufacturing and assembly solutions include state-of-the-art automated systems, from static and mobile robotic drilling and fastening cells to entire assembly lines. KUKA's current project portfolio includes orders from some of the world's largest aerospace manufacturers to design and build assembly systems for next generation commercial, business and military fixed wing and rotary aircraft.
