Laselec adds a new machine to the laser wire marking product line

10/01/2017

Press releaseIssued by Komax France (was Komax Laselec).

Ideal for the laser marking of electrical cables and fiber optics on a production line, the ULTIMA compact marker also features an “on the fly” marking of alphanumeric characters or bar codes of different sizes. ULTIMA can also be installed off-line between de-reeling and re-reeling modules.

Laselec has developed the Sylade 7 Benchtop, a patented technology for jacket stripping. Based on laser diode technology, the Sylade offers a level of precision, quality and repetition far superior than traditional tools. The use of lasers for marking and stripping of lighter, more technical and sensitive electric cables is ever increasing in industrial sectors such as aeronautics, automotive, medical, nuclear, rail, etc. Even in the transport sectors, Sylade products are meeting the demand for the stripping of aluminum cables. Laser technology safeguards the ultra-sensitive strands of these new families of technical cables.
