Latecoere onboard Mitsubishi Aircraft MRJ program

Latecoere Interconnection Systems, No. 2 worldwide in onboard wiring, announces that it has signed a contract with Mitsubishi Aircraft for the development of the Electrical Wiring Interconnection System (EWIS) of the Mitsubishi Regional Jet.

Mitsubishi Aircraft selected Latecoere Interconnection systems to build on its worldwide recognized expertise in the aerospace industry to support the type certification of the MRJ.

The Latecoere team will work alongside the Mitsubishi Aircraft team throughout design, development, manufacturing and installation of the EWIS as well as assist in the MRJ's certification process.

Mitsubishi Aircraft says: "This partnership is a significant step towards resolution of the MRJ wiring design challenges."
