Liebherr-Aerospace Toulouse SAS, Toulouse (France), actively engages in the project “Agilité et confiance dans la filière aéronautique” (“Agility and Confidence in the Aerospace Industry”) aimed at enhancing the aerospace supply chain's ability to meet the growing demand of the aviation industry worldwide. Initiated by two French consulting companies, Hommes et Développement and Stratorg, the project is carried out by Aerospace Valley, a pole of competitiveness in the Southwest of France.
“Agility and Confidence in the Aerospace Industry” focuses on improving the cooperation between Tier 1, Tier 2 and Tier 3 suppliers by supporting their ability to act jointly in the supply chain. It also reflects upon the dependency of each player on other players and is to encourage relationships shaped by trust among the various players.
Liebherr-Aerospace Toulouse SAS, a founding member of the Aerospace Valley, is one of three group leaders that will conduct a pilot phase with several Tier 2 and Tier 3 suppliers.
