Liebherr-Aerospace has been selected by Airbus for the engine bleed air system of the A320neo Family. The new generation electro-pneumatic bleed air system features compact, lightweight, high reliability bleed valves and pre-cooler together with controls, suitable for both A320neo Family engine options: CFMI's LEAP-X and Pratt & Whitney's PW1100G. This system will reflect Liebherr's unmatched experience in bleed air systems gained through a wide range of participations in commercial, regional, military and business aircraft programs. The system will be developed, qualified and manufactured in Toulouse, France, by Liebherr-Aerospace Toulouse SAS, Liebherr's center of excellence for aerospace air management systems.
Liebherr already supplies several key systems for Airbus' Single-Aisle aircraft, and the award of the A320neo bleed air system contract will further strengthen Liebherr's collaboration with Airbus. Liebherr is proud to bring its contribution to the success of the A320neo Family.
