Press releaseIssued by Liebherr LAMC Aviation (Changsha) Co. Ltd..

Liebherr LAMC Aviation (Changsha) Co., Ltd. of Changsha, Hunan Province (China) has recently received its certificate of approval according to the AS9100C quality management system standards. This marks a major milestone in the still young history of the company.

Liebherr LAMC Aviation (Changsha) Co., Ltd., the joint venture of Liebherr-Aerospace and Landing-gear Advanced Manufacturing Co., Ltd. (LAMC), a member of AVIC (Aviation Industry Corporation of China), was audited according to the requirements of EN 9104-001:2013 by Bureau Veritas Certification. It conforms to the quality management system standards BS EN ISO 9001:2008 and EN 9100:2009, which is technically equivalent to AS9100C.

The joint venture thus successfully obtained the qualification to design, develop, produce, sell and service landing gear systems. The scope of certification covers also raw materials, components and equipment import and export services related to the company's main business.

Liebherr LAMC Aviation (Changsha) Co., Ltd. was founded by Liebherr-Aerospace Lindenberg GmbH, Liebherr's center of excellence for flight controls and landing gear systems, and Landing-gear Advanced Manufacturing Co., Ltd. (LAMC) for the development and manufacture of landing gear for Chinese aircraft programs such as the COMAC C919.
