Luminator (An LTG Company) congratulates Boeing on delivery of the first 747-8 aircraft. Luminator Aerospace was selected to supply LED passenger information and emergency lighting and signage. The new LED lighting systems will provide greatly increased efficiency and service life.
"The 747-8 program represents another major program milestone from our long-standing partnership with Boeing, Luminator is looking forward to continuing our support on future Boeing programs." – Riko Yap, VP Marketing and Business Development
The teams from Boeing and Luminator developed new designs which decreased the power requirements and number of lights required per ship. The signage is also capable of dimming to the cabin ambient light levels for a more uniform appearance. Luminator also supplies the LED wing tip, navigation, anti-collision, and marker light system for the 747-8 program.
"Luminator plans to work closely with Boeing and its customers to ensure the 747-8 aircraft gets the very best product available." – Avi Zisman, CEO Luminator Technology Group.
