M.C. Gill Corporation is pleased to announce they have been awarded the contract for fabricated floor panels for the Boeing Dreamliner 787.
Chairman and CEO, Stephen Gill, thanked the staff at M.C. Gill Corporation for their efforts towards winning the contract award that was announced in spring 2013. The B787 Dreamliner is a revolutionary new aircraft designed with light weight advanced composite materials that will help achieve a 20% fuel savings. M.C. Gill Corporation already supplies honeycomb for the interiors, engine nacelles and secondary structures. Its sandwich panels and laminates are used throughout the interior of the aircraft.
M.C. Gill Corporation is the recipient of numerous awards including the Boeing Supplier of The Year. The company has a long history as a leader in the science of advanced composite materials and was recently featured on a segment of the Science Discovery Channel's How It's Made.
