Stephen Gill, Chairman and CEO of M.C. Gill Corporation, is pleased to announce they have been awarded multi-year, multi-products contract by Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation to supply advanced composite materials for the Gulfstream G450, G550 and the G650 business jet aircraft.
M. C. Gill Corporation will supply Gillfab 4122A and Gillfab 4030 composite sandwich panels that will be used to construct aircraft cabin furniture.
Gillfab 4122A is a light weight and low smoke emission sandwich panel made from woven glass reinforced phenolic facings bonded to Nomex® honeycomb core. Gillfab 4030 is a sandwich panel made with aluminum facings and aluminum honeycomb core.
M.C. Gill Corporation will also supply Gillfab 4417 panels that will be used to manufacture various bulkhead panels within the aircraft interiors and the “Air Stairs” which are the deployable stairs used for gaining access to the aircraft. Gillfab 4417 is a composite sandwich panel made with unidirectional fiberglass epoxy facings and Nomex® honeycomb core.
