Press releaseIssued by JSC Yakovlev Corporation (Irkutsk Aviation Plant).

19 June, 2017, the MC-21-300 aircraft performed another flight within the program of in-plant development tests.

Oleg Demchenko, the president of Irkut Corporation said: "Today we made an important step forward; the MC-21 aircraft performed a flight with the landing gear retraction and extension. This allows us to proceed with new and more complex modes of flight testing".

The delegation of Irkut Corporation (a UAC member) lead by Oleg Demchenko is participating in the Paris International Air Show 2017, which launched today at Le Bourget.

The main task of the delegation at the air show is negotiations with potential buyers of MC-21 aircraft, and also with partners within the program.
