McGill AirPressure's autoclave systems for the aerospace industry

McGill AirPressure designs and manufactures some of the largest and most sophisticated autoclaves in the world. Since 1960, McGill AirPressure has supplied major companies with pressure vessels and autoclave systems for bonding composites.

These industrial, ASME-code-certified autoclaves with quick-opening access doors are designed to apply vacuum, heat, and pressure in a controlled environment, providing the atmosphere needed to manufacture many of today's space-age composite materials.

McGill AirPressure specializes in supplying complete, integrated systems with a programmable logic controller (PLC). This PLC control system provides enhanced processing, quality control, process documentation, and data reporting via a PC, making autoclave control, status information, program setup, and alarm indication user-friendly for operators. An additional benefit of the PLC is that if the PC is ever taken off-line, the autoclave remains operational, which allows for continued production.

The Company manufactures virtually every part of the autoclave in state-of-the art facilities to ensure the highest quality, and every autoclave is supplied with a control panel, vacuum pump, and all necessary valves and instrumentation, along with being pre-wired and pre-piped to save installation time.
