Mecanizados Escribano complete dynamic testing capabilities

18/08/2015

Press releaseIssued by HBK - Hottinger Bruel & Kjaer UK.

Manufacturer strengthens position as leading test house with LDS V875 Combo shaker.

Aerospace expert, Mecanizados Escribano has expanded its vibration test capabilities with a new electrodynamic shaker system from Brüel & Kjær.

The company, which specializes in analyzing complex parts for aerospace and defense applications, needed a high-end vibration test system to complete its Madrid-based facility's test suite. Following recommendation from fellow companies, Mecanizados Escribano contacted Brüel & Kjær to discuss its requirements.

After an initial assessment, Brüel & Kjær identified its LDS V875 shaker as the ideal system, enabling Mecanizados Escribano to carry out sine, random, and classic shock testing on military equipment, at its remote weapon station, GUARDIAN.

The LDS V875 shaker has been specially designed for vibration testing within research and development areas, product qualification, stress screening and reliability test on applications up to 600 kg. It combines low installation and running costs with superior levels of safety.
