Meggitt and Paul Fabrications sign Group Purchasing Agreement and Long Term Agreement

23/07/2010

Press releaseIssued by Dynamic Aerospace Fabrications Ltd. (was Paul Fabrications).

Meggitt and Paul Fabrications are pleased to announce that they have signed a Group Purchasing Agreement covering Meggitt sites throughout the UK and North America, and a Long Term Agreement for the supply of a Turbine Case Cooling Valve Body.

Meggitt and Paul Fabrications have been working together for a number of years, with Paul Fabrications supplying products into a number of Meggitt sites in the USA & UK. Each of these relationships was previously covered by an individual contract. The new agreement provides a common framework for existing business and for working together on future projects. The Turbine Case Cooling Valve Body Long Term Agreement with Meggitt Control Systems in Coventry formalises a partnership that has been developing the valve body over the past two years.

Ingard Sagstad, Paul Fabrications' Managing Director, said:" We are proud to be associated with a prestigious organisation like Meggitt and we feel the signing of the Group Purchasing Agreement is a significant step forward in our relationship. We have supported a number of Meggitt companies for many years across various projects, and the signing of the Group Purchase Agreement provides a great platform to develop our relationship further across other Meggitt sites in years to come."

Martin Calland, Meggitt's Group Head of Procurement, said:"Meggitt is delighted to have the strong and capable support of Paul Fabrications in the development and production of complex fabricated parts like the Turbine Case Cooling Valve Body. This Group Purchasing Agreement provides a sound footing for our current business and the basis for us to develop our future relationship."
