25/08/2015

Press releaseIssued by Safran Landing Systems.

During the Moscow Air Show organized in Russia, Messier-Bugatti-Dowty officially signed a Letter of Intent (LoI) with AVIC - Aviation Industry Corporation of China – to cooperate on the MA700 program.

The Systems and Equipment division of Messier-Bugatti-Dowty has been selected to provide technical support to the China's largest aircraft manufacturer, in the design, engineering and qualification of the Braking Control System of its new turboprop. Expected to carry 70 to 90 passengers to and from China, the MA700 introduces a high-efficient, six-blade propeller and a T-tail empennage that makes the aircraft faster than its predecessors. With already 185 orders divided into 6 Chinese companies and 5 foreign companies, the maiden flight of the MA700 is expected in 2017.
