Midland Aerospace new machining tools commissioned

15/09/2015

Press releaseIssued by Midland Aerospace.

At Midland Aerospace, two new cnc machine tools have been added to increase the company's production capability.

Both the CMS Antares 5 axis Router and Hermle C50 U 5 axis have been commissioned to enable the company to service new Long Term Agreement ( LTA) contracts. This increased capability has enabled the company to expand its customer portfolio and to secure work on several R&D and production contracts.

The Antares CMS has a fully enclosed cabinet which is capable of being adapted for composite machining work for future applications. The Hermle C50 U has the capability to manufacture large components for the aero engine market.
