Advanced Air Mobility, or AAM, is shown in this concept image where multiple types of aircraft are depicted flying over urban, suburban and rural areas. AAM encompasses developing and deploying aviation in transformative and innovative approaches in order to provide aerial mobility in ways not typically seen today.

NASA's vision is to enable creation of an AAM system that is safe, economical and environmentally friendly to move people and packages in population centers, forever changing how citizens around the world benefit from aviation.
