New serial IL-76MD-90A transferred for painting

The Ulyanovsk aircraft-building enterprise of Aviastar-SP, JSC (part of the UAC Transport Aviation Division) transferred for painting a new serial Il-76MD-90A military transport aircraft under serial number 0202. The aircraft was built under a contract with the Russian Ministry of Defense.

According to the production schedule, the Aviastar specialists performed a full range of works on the production of the second serial IL-76MD-90A, installation of systems and equipment, installation of modern avionics.

Works on painting the serial transporter are already being carried out at the specialized enterprise of JSC "Spectr-Avia".

The aircraft is painted on the basis of the Russian acrylic-urethane matte enamel AK-1206. The coating has special protective properties, has a high weather resistance, durability, elasticity.

Upon completion of the painting work, the aircraft will be transferred to the production of the final assembly for the performance of the bearer work and subsequent transfer to the flight test complex. After the stage of ground testing and flight tests, the Il-76MD-90A will be handed over to the customer.

In total, according to the production program of 2019, the Ulyanovsk plant plans to commission six aircraft. Earlier, on April 2, 2019, the first serial military transport aircraft IL-76MD-90A, manufactured in accordance with the requirements of the Russian Ministry of Defense, was put into operation.

IL-76MD-90A is a deeply modernized version of the well-proven IL-76 aircraft. Developer - PJSC Aviation Complex. S. V. Ilyushin. New flight-navigation complex, automatic control system, communication complex and "glass cockpit" meet all modern requirements for aircraft avionics and significantly increase flight safety, accuracy of navigation and landing. The installation of modern PS-90A-76 engines, a modified wing and a reinforced chassis greatly expand the operational capabilities of the aircraft.
