OnCore Manufacturing's San Marcos facility achieves AS9100 certification

07/06/2011

Press releaseIssued by NEO Technology Solutions.

OnCore Manufacturing, a leading supplier of electronic contract manufacturing services to the aerospace and defense, medical and industrial markets, announced that its San Marcos, California facility has successfully achieved AS9100 implementation and certification.

The certification confirms that the San Marcos quality management system (QMS) is certified for manufacturing circuit card assemblies (CCAs), emphasizing that the QMS is complementary to the contractual and applicable regulatory requirements as specified by the aerospace community. "San Marcos achieving AS9100 certification provides our current and future aerospace and defense customers with an OnCore site close to many of their southern California sites and is a symbol of OnCore's commitment to meeting the highest quality standards in the industries we serve," said Tony Batalha, Vice President Corporate Quality and Lean.

The accrediting auditors noted that the San Marcos site had developed systems to assure customer satisfaction and continually improve and provide reliable products and services that exceed customer regulatory requirements. The site has embraced the Plan-Do-Check-Act philosophies that embody the standard and its employees have carried that over to all of its business processes.

"A company earns its customers' trust and continued business by consistently building quality products. OnCore's quality system and processes help us to consistently produce quality products for all of our customers," said Dan Perez, Chief Executive Officer of OnCore. "Our San Marcos site's AS9100 certification is the latest validation that our quality systems and processes will consistently deliver quality products for our aerospace and defense customers just as our ISO13485 and ISO9001 certifications are validations for medical and industrial customers."
