Ondrives Ltd of Chesterfield is pleased to announce the launch of its new design BLHM gearbox.
The design is based on the ever-popular BLH range, which is a bevel type gearbox with heavy-duty hardened bevel gears as standard. The new BLHM range utilises the standard design whilst encompassing a double output design that has counter-rotating shafts, which the company states, allow more flexibility when designing machines. Because it also uses an extra bevel gear, this 3 bevel design permits two different directions of shaft rotation from one input source, therefore cutting down on the need for extra motors or drives & time-consuming complicated drive design.
The company claims that suitable areas of industry include packaging & printing as well as pick & place machinery & bespoke OEM's.
