PC-12 NG makes progress in tough market

At the 2009 National Business Aircraft Association (NBAA) Convention in Orlando, Florida, Pilatus reports that its flagship PC-12 NG program is a continued success story despite the challenges in the world economy.

The PC-12 NG was certified in the spring of 2008, and Pilatus has delivered more than 140 examples of this latest generation model worldwide. Corporate flight departments, owner-pilots, fractional providers, air ambulance companies, and government agencies operating the fleet have accumulated more than 27,000 flight hours on the PC-12 NG during that time.

At the company's indoor NBAA exhibit, which features an actual PC-12 NG which is the largest real aircraft inside the main exhibit hall, Pilatus Business Aircraft, Ltd. President and CEO Thomas Bosshard said, "The PC-12 NG represents a significant evolution of our flagship business turboprop, and it continues to prove itself to be the right aircraft at the right time. Some have even called it the best kept secret in business aviation."

The single-turbine powered PC-12 NG has become increasingly popular as a cost effective and defensible solution for business travel.
