Photo-Sonics updates ruggedised video camera

25/08/2006

Press releaseIssued by Photo-Sonics International Ltd..

The Photo-Sonics PSI 460R II, Ruggedised, Airborne Video camera has been upgraded with new electronics to enable full control via RS232 protocol.

This small (54.5 x 38 x 106.5mm (w/h/l) including lenses) colour video camera has been designed to fit into or onto any area of an aircraft. The lens mount holds ensures that the lens will not move or change its settings under test conditions.

Three lenses are available in 3.5, 6 & 16mm options. Lens mounts for each and adaptors for other types are also available.

This camera is ideally suited to external installation as well as Cockpit, Cabin and Hold monitoring applications. With standard 28V or 12Vdc power requirements and low (3.2W) power consumption the PSI 460R II camera can be installed and operated virtually anywhere.
