Phyre GOBIGGS system selected for UH-60 Black Hawk demonstration as part of AATD CTPD

Today Phyre Technologies, Inc. ("Phyre") announced it has been selected by Sikorsky Aircraft, a unit of United Technologies Corporation, to build and demonstrate a Green On-Board Inert Gas Generating Systems (GOBIGGS TM) system for the UH-60 BLACK HAWK, as part of the AATD Combat Tempered Platform Demonstration (CTPD) program.

Phyre's GOBIGGSTM is an environmentally friendly, catalytically based fuel tank inerting system designed to significantly reduce fuel tank vulnerability to explosion and thereby increase survivability of the UH-60 in forward operations.
